Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Amber — founder + lead strategist of Salt & Light Social Media and Midwest-lovin’ gal born & raised right here in Milwaukee. I’ve been working in the marketing & content space for 8+ years at every level. Whether it’s been in freelance positions, working with small startup teams, or within global organizations such as ESPN and USTA, I’ve had the opportunity to execute countless strategies to leverage social media to tell stories, create meaningful connections, and generate real, bottom-line growth and impact.

I really didn’t step into this career knowing that social media + content marketing were going to become something that lights me up so much; I simply knew I had a passion to tell stories, followed that passion & soon discovered that I was able to shine in roles where I could introduce innovative, creative ideas in both visual and written content to grow the channels that I was working with and generate massive growth for my clients or employers’ organizations.

So that’s where this business comes in – I realized I loved what I was doing, I was good at it, and I wanted to do it more in a way that could help even more businesses grow. So in 2020, this company was founded out of that passion for helping small, women-led businesses expand their impact on the world + tell their stories on their terms. And now I have the privilege of doing it alongside other women that I’ve grown to love so dearly!
